vimsh vmsvc/getallvms

Usage: getallvms

Get the list of virtual machines on the host.

example output

# vim-cmd -H 10.10.10.10 -U root -P password /vmsvc/getallvms

This command can be used to replace the old -obsolete- ESX CLI command:
